Our purpose is to preserve and promote the quilting arts by educating members through lectures, demonstrations, workshops and by stimulating a renewed interest in quilting and encouraging original design and bringing these benefits to the general public in the form of exhibits and demonstrations. Mayor of Rome, Italy. We saw duplicate statues of a hermaphrodite in two different museums. She is lying on her side, only partially exposed. The difference is in presentation. One museum puts the art form in a central position where it can easily be seen from all sides.
